Biography:

Joe Romero has practiced as a CRNA since 2013. He received his foundational education in Nurse Anesthesiology from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, a Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) from Missouri State University, and completed his fellowship education and clinical training in Advanced Pain Management through the University of South Florida. He is an eight-year veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve having served on the 934th Forward Surgical Team (FST) and was combat deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and the 101st Airborne Division. He is clinical instructor for nurse anesthesiology residents and lectures nationally on a variety of anesthesiology related topics including ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, enhanced recovery after surgery, trauma anesthesia care, pharmacology, and healthcare economics.
