Community Hospital of Anaconda (CHA) is excited to announce the continuation of Childbirth Education classes offered to its patients. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the hospital temporarily paused all childbirth education offerings. As of September 27, 2021 the hospital has partnered with Birthly to offer free access to virtual childbirth education classes, allowing patients to access valuable educational resources in the comfort of their own homes.

Through the Birthly partnership, CHA’s patients are now able to access a variety of perinatal classes online at no additional cost. All classes are live, which means patients will have the opportunity to connect through a live video feed with certified and experienced childbirth educators. Birthly Educators will provide interactive teaching on a variety of top-of-mind topics and patients will have dedicated time to ask questions. Classes currently offered include Prenatal Education Bootcamp, Breastfeeding 101, as well as Newborn Care and more.

Obstetrics manager, Marci Gossett, RN, states “I love the ease of use for our patients – this program provides unlimited cafeteria style access to a variety of classes.”
