Community Hospital of Anaconda CEO Named “CEO to Know”
Community Hospital of Anaconda CEO, Meg Hickey-Boynton was recently recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review in the 2024 edition of its “Critical access hospital CEOs to know” list.
Becker’s Hospital review published the 2024 list of Critical Access Hospital CEOs to know on October 10, 2024. The article stated “As CEOs of critical access hospitals, these leaders have stimulated growth, fostered partnerships and enhanced community wellbeing. With a relentless drive to improve community health, these leaders expand care access for populations that may otherwise need to travel broadly and spend exorbitant amounts for the care they need.”
The list included the following profile for Hickey-Boynton. “As the CEO of Community Hospital of Anaconda, Ms. Hickey-Boynton oversees the operations of the critical access hospital, which offers services in family practice, obstetrics, general surgery, orthopedics, neuroscience, emergency medicine, gastroenterology and more. In addition to offering acute, emergency and laboratory services, the hospital also offers home health, hospice and long-term care. In 2023, the hospital was recognized as a top 20 critical access hospital by the National Rural Health Association.”
